Who can benefit from a Forma treatment?
Forma is indicated for anyone and everyone. It is safe with no risk of burns. However anyone with a cardiac pacemaker cannot have a Forma treatment. Please advise us if there are any metal dental implants like crowns, braces or caps so treatment can be adjusted.
What is the treatment schedule?
Because Forma is a noninvasive procedure, results are not as dramatic as Morpheus 8. 6-8 or more sessions will be required once weekly for 20 to 30 minutes total to achieve the desired effect. Thicker skin will require more sessions. Single maintenance sessions may be needed every 1 to 3 months but typically there is a repeat session done in 6 months and then yearly after that.
What can I expect during a Forma treatment?
An ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area and a probe is massaged onto the skin releasing heat. The skin will become red and hot for a few hours but there is no risk of burns.
How do I prepare for a Forma treatment?
The are only needs to be clean and clear of make-up.
What can I expect post treatment?
There will be redness and swelling for a few hours after the treatment and there will be a tight skin look.
What are the precautions after the treatment?
It is very important not to cool the area after treatment. Do not apply cold water. The heat should be allowed to work. Make-up and moisturizer can be applied immediately after treatment.
